PayPal Merchant Manager

With PayPal's acquisition of Verisign's Payment division in October 2005, the offerings of online account management tools from the two companies were very similar and redundant. In this project, I was tasked with designing a new suite of tools for PayPal Merchants that would combine the functionality of both platforms in a new, modern interface.

 

This included tools to help PayPal merchants to manage transactions, shipping, customer lists, fraud prevention, a virtual credit card terminal, customer email communications, refunds, trends, and other aspects of their businesses.

In this project, I conducted up-front research with both current and potential PayPal Merchants, worked with Product Management to develop the product vision, as well as creating site maps, user task flows, wireframes, visual design, and HTML clickthrough prototypes for usability testing.
